2025 Opening Day Schedule & Details

Here’s the full schedule for Opening Day 2025. Please take note of where your player is needed!

Location: Wagner Ranch Elementary School, 350 Camino Pablo, Orinda

Parking: The lower parking lot will be open by the baseball fields with the gates open to the blacktop there for additional parking. We’ll have parking attendant volunteers helping to direct traffic.

Attire: All players should wear their game day uniforms (hats and pants included) and tennis shoes (no cleats).

Prizes & Games:

There will be raffle prizes – Giants tickets, 2 weeks of Legends summer baseball camp, batting gloves, a Hype Fire bat, baseball gear, MCC golf certificate, Patagonia packs & duffels, OBA apparel, an Orinda date night package, a Yeti cooler & chair, and more! Raffle tickets are $5 for 1 ticket or $20 for 5 tickets with sales ending at 10:30AM.

There will be games – speed pitch, Home Run Derby (more info below), and carnival games – and a 360 photo booth! All of these activities will run from 8:30 – 10:30 AM

Food and drink:

Breakfast burritos (meat & veg options), donuts, coffee, soda, Gatorade, water and plenty of other snacks.

There will be OBA apparel for sale! Cash & credit cards accepted.

Home Run Derby!!!

If you haven’t registered for the Home Run Derby, please do so here. Gather pledges from family & friends and check out the leaderboards. The winning teams in each division will get their own private ice cream party at Loard’s (Orinda) with their entire team! We’re so grateful to this generous donation from our community partner. Highest fundraising players in each division will win Bruce Bolt batting gloves. The team with the most funds raised in the entire league wins an opportunity to join the Oakland Ballers on the field during the national anthem at a regular season home game this spring/summer.

Group A: 5 teams

Team 1- Suriyakam/Korpi

Team 4- Miles/Alfert

Team 5- Weinstein/Sparolini
